Community Partners
To ensure the real-world impact of our work, we collaborate with community agencies and clinical. Additionally, we are expanding our partnerships to include child advocacy organizations, early childhood education programs, behavior health services, organizations supporting children with disabilities and developmental challenges, child advocacy centers, and policy-focused institutions.

Amy Moore Ph.D.
- Assistant Research Professor
Amy works on ENCIRCLE (a PCORI-funded project) to develop intervention materials and train community nutritionists to implement the intervention designed to promote healthy eating and prevent obesity in preschool-age children.
Alaina Pearce Ph.D.
- Assistant Research Professor
Alaina is a cognitive neuroscientist interested in the reciprocal relationship between neurocognitive function and pediatric obesity .
Community Advisory Board
Our Community Advisory Board (CAB) plays a pivotal role in shaping our research, outreach, and initiatives. Comprised of diverse members from various backgrounds, our CAB brings invaluable perspectives that enhance the effectiveness and inclusivity of our work. Our CAB brings diverse perspectives, guides our research, enhances our outreach efforts, strengthens our grant proposals, facilitates recruitment, and helps us build trust and collaboration within the communities that we serve.
