Early Intervention to Promote Cardiovascular Health of Mothers and Children (ENRICH)
ENRICH
The Early Intervention to Promote Cardiovascular Health of Mothers and Children (ENRICH) program’s purpose is to test the effectiveness of an implementation-ready intervention at multiple sites throughout the US to determine if a cardiovascular health (CVH) module can enhance maternal and child CVH. Penn State is one of 7 Clinical Centers under the Coordinating Center at Johns Hopkins University. Application required partnership with an evidence-based home visiting program. Penn State is collaborating with Nurse-Family Partnership agencies across the state of Pennsylvania through Geisinger Health System and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Participants are randomized to receive Usual Care (control) or ENRICHed Care (intervention).
